Techne: Texture Database

Welcome to Techne! This database was developed with a grant from the University of Florida Office of Academic Technology in 2004 to provide an interactive library of textural image files commonly used in architectural modeling, rendering, and animation programs. To use the database, simply register to receive an account login. Once you receive your password, simply load the textures you need to your shopping cart and upload to your computer. This database is to be seen as a community asset, meaning that in exchange for textures from the database that you upload to your computer, please submit textures of your own to be included to the database. Mind you that the submission and uploading functions are secure, and your images will be reviewed by a living breathing human being as well as scanned for viruses, so there is not a chance that inappropriate material will make it into the database.
